Portishead Reveals New Album Details

Portishead's Geoff Barrow revealed on the band's official website that they are close to completing their long-awaited third album. "As to the new album," he writes, (we've kept grammatical mistakes for the true Barrow effect) "We met the label the other day which was good. I dont think we scared them too much..well mabey a little. going to london to have a listen in a proper studio soon but until then were just mixing the stumps, stems. whatever.– – – – – –thinking about names– – – – – –films looking really good."

The band will also perform live this winter at the All Tomorrow's Parties festival, which they are curating.
