Trail Of Dead Tours With Cartoon Characters

Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's block of adult-oriented late-night programming, is sponsoring a U.S. college tour featuring Austin, TX band ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead alongside Dethklok, the animated death metal band and stars of the series Metalocalypse. While creator Brendan Small wouldn't explain just how a band of cartoon characters will tour, he did issue this statement: "We are most metally honored to be able to shred for the minds of the collegiate institutions of the United States of Metal America. Their blood will surge in the wake of our destruction."

Dethklok will let the blood surge at select college campuses in support of its forthcoming album, Dethalbum, which also coincides with the release of Metalocalypse's first season on DVD. Tickets are available to college students only.
