Iron Maiden Schedule One-Off LA Appearance
NWOBHM (that'd be the New Wave of British Heavy Metal for you non-headbangers) icons Iron Maiden have announced a one-off gig at the Los Angeles Forum on February 19. Oddly enough, the show lands right in the middle of a world tour, with a Tokyo date coming right before it and a Mexico leg happening soon after."It will certainly be the first time we have played LA by flying in, doing the show, and flying straight out again," bassist Steve Harris said in a statement. "We will have to make up for it next time."
Iron Maiden's last LP was 2006's A Matter of Life and Death. Tickets for the LA date will be available on November 10.
