Jimmy Page breaks finger/the hearts of Led Zeppelin fans
Led Zeppelin Reunion Show Postponed
Led Zeppelin's highly anticipated reunion concert at London's 02 Arena has been postponed from November 26 to December 10 due to a finger injury suffered by Jimmy Page last weekend."We feel that this postponement will enable my injury to properly heal and permit us to perform at the level that both the band and our fans have always been accustomed to," Page said in a statement, alluding to an evening full of searing solos and "Stairway to Heaven."
The last Led Zeppelin LP, the synth-spiked In Through the Out Door, was released way back in 1979. A long-awaited digital 'box set' of the band's entire 165-track catalogue will be available through iTunes on November 13 for just $99. Fans seeking an actual piece of plastic will also have the option of Rhino's two-disc Mothership collection on the same day.
