Babyface Gets Back on the Road

Ten-time Grammy winner Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds has announced a rare round of tour dates beginning on November 23 in Oakland, CA, and wrapping up on December 12 in Atlanta, GA. Yes it's only a dozen cities, but we'll take it.
After all, his own hits ("It's No Crime," "Tender Lover," "Two Occasions") aside, we’re talking the guy that produced "Red Light Special" (TLC), "I'll Make Love To You" (Boyz II Men), "Humpin' Around" (Bobby Brown), and "Thanks Fr th Mmrs" (Fall Out Boy) here. His current album, Playlist, is just as eclectic, too, mixing up a handful of originals with peanut butter-smooth covers of Eric Clapton ("Wonderful Tonight"), Bob Dylan ("Knockin' On Heaven's Door"), James Taylor ("Shower the People," the Top 10 hit "Fire & Rain"), Bread ("Diary") and more.
In other words, expect the unexpected... and a little James Taylor.
