Weezer Sets Release Date For Sixth Record
Good news Weezer fans! Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo isn't the only put-your-W's-in-the-air album due out in the coming months. While Cuomo's collection of solo recordings from 1992-2007 is hitting stores on December 11 through Geffen, the group's sixth, as-yet-untitled full-length is now set for April 22, 2008."Weezer fans truly have something to look forward to," bassist Scott Shriner said on the band's Web site, weezer.com. "The entire band has accomplished some of its most challenging goals as a group and as individuals.
Shriner added, "To sum it up, at the beginning of the recording each member asked himself 'what do you want out of this session?' The answer lies ahead."
