The Kooks Confirm Holiday Shows

British buzz band The Kooks have decided to take some time off from the studio to invade the States for a handful of holiday shows. The seven gigs start in Seattle on December 6 and wind down in San Francisco on December 16.

are currently working with producer Tony Hoffer (Beck, Air, Belle & Sebastian) on the follow-up to Inside In/Inside Out, which has sold more than two million copies worldwide and been certified quadruple platinum in the UK, where it was the second highest selling debut of 2006 after The Arctic Monkeys. The sophomore effort is expected sometime next Spring.
