VH1 Announces 'Seven Ages of Rock' Series
Dennis Hopper has been named as the narrator of VH1 Classic's Seven Ages of Rock, a seven-part series co-produced by the BBC and featuring interviews from an incredible array of artists including Ozzy Osbourne, Henry Rollins, David Bowie, Debbie Harry, Keith Richards, Lou Reed, Gene Simmons and Michael Stipe. Each episode will focus on a different era of guitar-guided greatness, from The Who and Stones in "My Generation: The Birth of Rock" to The Smiths and Stone Roses in "What the World is Waiting For: British Indie."A detailed rundown of the entire series—airing from Monday, December 17, through Sunday, December 22, at 9 p.m.—can be found at www.vh1classic.com.
