Scott Weiland Joins the Tell-All Book Club
Former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland is already second-guessing the autobiography deal he recently signed, saying in a backstage American Music Awards interview, "It's a weird thing. You make a lot of records, write a lot of songs, but all of a sudden you go into a whole different vein, and it's a little bit scary to dive into."A nearby Slash, who just released his own self-titled rock star memoir with author Anthony Bozza, had this advice for his Velvet Revolver bandmate: "Just jump in, and one you get going you can't stop."
One thing working in Weiland's favor is his choice of co-author, David Ritz, who wrote the lyrics to "Sexual Healing" as well as autobiographies for Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles.
