And near the completion of another album
The Walkmen Return to the Road
We know what you're thinking: 2007 sure was a quiet year for The Walkmen, at least compared to the two albums (A Hundred Miles Off, a remake of Harry Nilsson and John Lennon's Pussy Cats) they managed to crank out within five months of one another the year before.Fret not fans, for the band's about to finish their fourth full-length for a planned spring release. Not only that; they've also scheduled a weeklong tour for early 2008.
Walk like a Walkman:
1/16 Pittsburgh, PA - Diesel
1/17 Pontiac, MI - The Crofoot
1/18 Milwaukee, WI - Turner Hall
1/19 Madison, WI - High Noon
1/20 Chicago, IL - Schubas (Tomorrow Never Knows festival)
1/21 St. Louis, MO - Duck Room
1/22 Columbus, OH - The Basement
1/23 Philadelphia, PA - Johnny Brenda's
3/6-9 Everglades, FL - Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation (Langerado Festival)
