Weezer Reveals Hoax Behind New Record
Weezer shared a special Thanksgiving treat with fans last Thursday: news that their sixth album is not called Tout Ensemble or coming out April 22. Oh, and about Alonea collection of solo recordings from Rivers Cuomowell, it's been pushed back a week to December 18. Praise emo.The clarification came because of albumsix.com, a fan site posing as the official home of Weezer's next record. "Weezer and Geffen Records have no affiliation with www.albumsix.com," a band representative posted. "There is no official release date yet for the album."
