Richard Hawley Kicks Off U.S. Tour, Film Career

Sheffield native and Rockabilly aficionado,
Richard Hawley, kicks off his U.S. tour this weekend in support of his fifth full-length solo album, Lady's Bridge. The tour promises cuts from this new effort as well as the Mercury Prize-nominated tunes from 2005's Cole's Corner.And, as an added bonus for fans and horror film buffs, Hawley will soon be adding "actor" to his list of talents. He will be featured in the upcoming British horror film called Flick. No word on how hefty the role is, but he'll be sharing screen-time with Faye Dunaway.
