Portishead Release Date Leaks
Mark down this date right now, trip-hop fans: March 31, 2008. According to Gigwise.com, that'll be the day Portishead releases its first studio record since their self-titled 1997 LP. (They released the orchestra-backed live disc PNYC a year later.) Beth Gibbons and company finished the as-yet-untitled disc in October and have been mastering it ever since.The group's version of All Tomorrows Parties' Nightmare Before Christmas festival will hit the UK on December 7-9 with Ladytron, Black Mountain, Julian Cope and more.
