Jermaine Dupri Reveals Jackson 5 Reunion

All those rumors of a Jackson 5 reunion have finally come true. At least according to a Jermaine Dupri interview with the Atlanta radio station V-103. Speaking about a New Year's Eve celebration in honor of his engagement to Janet Jackson, Dupri said, "It's the Jackson 5 party. I swear to you it's going to be the biggest party this town has ever seen." A private helicopter will carry the brothers to Dupri's Studio 72 club, where they will play a greatest hits set—their first since 1984's incredibly successful Victory World Tour.

Speaking to the BBC earlier this year, Jermaine Jackson alluded to a world tour and explained the situation as such: "We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public."

As for whether Michael will be involved, Jermaine said, "He has to be. He is a Jackson."
