Cat Power Announces Brief Tour
With her second cover song collection on the way January 22 (her last, The Covers Record, came out in the year 2000), Cat Power has confirmed a teaser of a tour: just six dates backed by her Dirty Delta Blues Band, running from February 6 in New York City to February 11 in Minneapolis.Jukebox includes one new CP jam ("Song to Bobby") and breathy renditions of such popular standards as Frank Sinatra's "New York" and Joni Mitchell's "Blue."
