Smashing Pumpkins Release Exclusive iTunes EP

"The Rose March," a live show staple from Billy Corgan's Future Embrace-era, has been selected as one of four unreleased songs on the new Smashing Pumpkins EP, American Gothic. The iTunes exclusive is now available in a deluxe edition of the band's latest album, Zeitgeist, either on an a la carte basis of 99-cents per song or as part of a $15.99 package that includes the original Zeitgeist album and the music videos for "Tarantula" and "That's the Way (My Love Is)."

The bulk of American Gothic was written during summer residencies in Asheville, NC, and San Francisco, CA, but the actual recording happened at L.A.'s Pass Studio in late 2007. Fans looking for a concrete copy will have to wait until later this month, when the band presses it in an import-only CD format.
