José González Turns Green On March Tour
José González has teamed up with Reverb in an effort to lessen the environmental effects of his upcoming tour, which runs from March 1 in Orlando to March 31 in Vancouver. The non-profit organization—founded to "educate and engage music fans and promote environmental sustainability"—will help González and his road crew with everything from securing reusable water bottles to calculating and lowering the carbon emissions of the entire trek. As a result, each ticket sold will carry a 50-cent surcharge to benefit Reverb's cause. Fans can also add another 50-cents to NativeEnergy's CO2 Offset program if they purchase advance tickets on ticketstoday.com.Gonzalez's sophomore LP, In Our Nature, was released in September through Mute.
