Scarlett Johansson Finishes Her Debut LP
Scarlett Johansson has amassed an all-star lineup of indie rock types for her solo debut, Anywhere I Lay My Head. According to Billboard.com, the effort is due out May 20 through Atco and will feature one original track and 10 Tom Waits covers. Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio produced the effort at Dockside Studios in Maurice, LA last spring alongside such guests as Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner, Celebration multi-instrumentalist Sean Antanaitis, and Stars Like Fleas drummer Ryan Sawyer.Johansson was last seen in a musical context at Coachella 2007, where she helped the Jesus and Mary Chain with their instant Lost In Translation classic "Just Like Honey."
