R.E.M. Nabs the National, Modest Mouse For Spring Tour

R.E.M. made an official announcement about their spring tour today, naming The National and Modest Mouse as its powerhouse openers on dates that stretch from May 23 in Vancouver to June 21 in Atlanta. Michael Stipe, for one, has been a major supporter of the National in recent months, going so far as attending one of their London shows last year.
