Gnarls Barkley Reveals Album Title, Cover
The post-first-and-ask-questions-later marketing machine of Gnarls Barkley started a-churning yesterday as the duo unveiled the title (The Odd Couple) and likely cover (some Sims-type thing with lots of pastels) of its eagerly-anticipated follow-up to St. Elsewhere. Interestingly enough, a song named "Run" suddenly "leaked" onto numerous blogs as well, a move confirmed by Gnarls' own MySpace bulletins.Anyhow, the album is due out in April, so expect tons of Gnarls-related news in the coming months, including all of Danger Mouse's simmering projects: The Black Keys' Attack & Release LP (available April 1), Martina Topley-Bird's still-unfinished solo album, and a band called the Shortwave Set, who somehow coaxed John Cale and Van Dyke Parks into the studio.
