The Futureheads Launch DIY Label

Problems with 679 Recordings, the Futureheads' UK home, have led the band to form its own label under the name Nul Records. Its first release will be the follow-up to News & Tributes—a little LP-that-could called This Is Not the World. While it's due out in the UK sometime in May, the band hopes to sign individual deals with indie labels worldwide.

World's first single, "The Beginning of the Twist," hits the streets on March 10 through CD, vinyl and download formats. In the meantime, the band is on a UK tour that'll last through early March.
