Clinic Gets 'Mellow, Weird'

Clinic has completed their fifth full-length, Do It! According to an interview between frontman Ade Blackburn and Billboard.com, it features "a contrast between mellow and weirdness. We heavily chopped up the song structures so they're not standard verse/chorus. It makes the record hard to pin down and unpredictable."

Blackburn continued to elaborate on specific songs, calling "Corpus Christi" a "jug band take on Can" and saying "the end result is quite a surreal mixture." That very mixture will be on display throughout a tour of the U.S. in May, where Clinic plans on playing two sets: Do It! in its entirety and a catalogue-skimming overview of Clinic's past decade together.
