Eddie Vedder Plans Brief West Coast Tour

The success of Eddie Vedder's Into the Wild soundtrack (it's sold 243,000 copies so far) has pushed the Pearl Jam frontman onto the road for his first-ever solo tour. Running just two weeks in April, it includes Vancouver and several cities in California.

"This will be an amazing opportunity for fans to see Eddie Vedder in such intimate settings,"Matt Shay, RCA Music Group's VP of A&R/marketing, told Billboard.com. "Working with Eddie on the music from Into the Wild has been an honor, and the tour will be a true highlight for all of us."

Details on how to score tickets to the rare tour can be found at PearlJam.com. Fans worried about the future of Pearl Jam in the meantime can rest assured that they're currently working on new material and will co-headline Bonnaroo in June.

    Jam-less sessions:

4/2 Vancouver, BC - the Centre
4/5 Santa Cruz, CA - Civic Auditorium
4/7 Berkeley, CA - Zellerbach Auditorium
4/10 Santa Barbara, CA - Arlington Theatre
4/12-13 Los Angeles, CA - Wiltern Theatre
4/15 San Diego, CA - Spreckels Theatre
