Cyrus Fam Confirmed For CMT Awards

Billy Ray Cyrus and his superstar daughter, Hannah Montana's own Miley Cyrus, have been tapped to host the 2008 CMT Music Awards. The pair will also perform live at the award show's airing from The Curb Event Center at Belmot University in Nashville on April 14. Other performers include Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Toby Keith.

"Miley and I are so excited to be hosting the CMT Music Awards," Billy Ray said in a statement. "We know it will be a fun-filled night with a lot of great music performances."

In other Cyrus clan news, Miley and Billy will spark the production cycle of The Hannah Montana Movie this spring, which will be followed by the taping of H.M.'s third season.
