KT Tunstall Announces First Full U.S. Tour
Thu, 06 Mar 2008 09:08:34
Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall has decided to go the unplugged route on her first extensive North American tour. Running from May 3 in San Diego through two late May stops in New York City, the 18-city trek will feature Tunstall on guitar and a backing band playing "various other unplugged instruments, such as double bass, harmonium and mandolin."
"We wanted to try something a little different this time around and I think performing everything on acoustic instruments will afford these gigs a great vibe and give people a chance to see us play in a more intimate setting," Tunstall explained in a press statement. "We'll have some different arrangements, new versions of older songs, but don't worry, it's still going to rock!"
