Snoop Dogg Scores Soap Opera Gig

If there was ever any doubt left that Snoop Dogg's up for just about anything, check out this news: the one-time "Gin and Juice" slinger has signed on for a cameo in One Life to Live. Yes, the soap opera. Snoop will perform two songs from his new album (Ego Trippin') on the show, as well as flex his acting skills a bit.

"I've been a fan of One Life to Live since I was a baby," Snoop said in a statement. "My momma always had it on the tube in tha crib growing up. The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavor will make the show the Life of The Party."

That's right: Snoop is also remixing the show's theme song. In case you can't miss such a surreal scene, be sure to catch One Life to Live on May 8 and 9—the latest string in a series of rap, pop and R&B stars on the show, from Timbaland to Mary J. Blige.
