Fall Out Boy Postpone Antarctica Trip
Fall Out Boy's record-breaking gig at a scientific colony in Antarctica has been postponed due to bad weather across the continent. The Greenpeace-aided show was supposed to happen today, so if flights resume tomorrow, the band may still end up there."We were sort of aware that this might happen, but, to be honest, we're just hoping some other band doesn't slip in by boat or something and set the world record right under our noses," frontman Patrick Stump told MTV.com.
Bassist Pete Wentz had his own concerns, adding, "I also heard that you can, like, get a photo taken with your arm around a penguin, like frat-boy style, which would be hilarious."
Fall Out Boy's Live in Phoenix LP hits stores next Tuesday.
