T.I. Pleads Guilty To Weapons Charges
T.I. pleaded guilty to federal weapons possession charges in an Atlanta court today, pushing his sentencing off for one year while he performs at least 1,000 hours of community service. The rapper initially pleaded not guilty last fall after being arrested on October 13 for possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers. He was released on $3 million bond later in the month and then spent every day since under house arrest.Born Clifford Harris, T.I. faced a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each weapons count. He pleaded guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of machine guns and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
