Remy Ma Convicted of Assault
A Manhattan jury reached a guilty decision in Remy Ma's assault case yesterday in state Supreme Court. The rapper—heard on the Terror Squad hit "Lean Back" and other tracks by Busta Rhymes and Eminem—now faces up to 25 years in prison after admitting to firing a shot at a friend outside a nightclub on July 14, 2007.Ma's defense team said the incident was an accident, set into motion after she suspected the friend of stealing $3,000.
