ATO Records—the laissez faire home of Radiohead, My Morning Jacket and more—has added Liz Phair to its growing roster, just in time for a much-needed reissue of 1993's Exile in Guyville and a new full-length in the fall. The former will hit stores on June 24, complete with four bonus tracks and a DVD doc called Guyville Redux.
The film actually centers on the history of the Wicker Park scene in Chicago, with Phair interviewing such music-related icons as Ira Glass, Steve Albini, Gerard Cosloy and Chris Lombardi of Matador Records, members of Urge Overkill, Exile producer Brad Wood, and more.
Did we mention that Dave himself introduces the DVD? Well he does, so hold all your "Crash Into Me" jokes until June.
