Mos Def has grabbed one of his greatest film roles yet—Chuck Berry in Cadillac Records, which is now shooting in New Jersey. Mos joins a solid cast that includes Beyonce as Etta James, Adrien Brody as Chess co-founder Leonard Chess, Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters, and Cedric the Entertainer as Willie Dixon.
Darnell Martin of Their Eyes Were Watching God is directing the full-length feature from his own script.
