Foo Fighters, Kanye West Among Virgin Fest Artists

Sir Richard Branson has announced the headliners for this summer's Virgin Mobile Festival, including Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails and Stone Temple Pilots. The Virgin Group Founder/Chairman revealed the Baltimore lineup—dropping down at the Pimlico Race Course on August 9-10—during a keynote speech at the 2008 CTIA Wireless convention in Las Vegas, adding that details for the rest of the two-day fest will be revealed in the coming weeks.

As for the Toronto edition of the Virgin Festival, it will feature Oasis, Foo Fighters, Bloc Party, Spiritualized, Paul Weller, Stereophonics, the Weakerthans, and more. Separate shows in Calgary and Vancouver will also be solidified soon.
