Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer to Star In Tolstoy Biopic
Oscar winner Helen Mirren and Tony winner Christopher Plummer have joined the cast of The Last Station the forthcoming biopic about famed Russian author Leo Tolstoy. Mirren and Plummer will portray Tolstoy and his wife Sofia in the film and they replace powerhouses Meryl Streep and Anthony Hopkins, who were previously announced for these meaty roles. The film begins shooting April 7 and is based on Jay Parini's 1990 novel about the dramatic final year of the Anna Karenina scribe's life.Also set to star are
