Magnum Matthew McConaughey

With his lazy Southern charm, chiseled abs, and tousled blonde hair, actor and "sexiest man alive" Matthew McConaughey isn't exactly the first person we'd think of to portray iconic '80s television character Thomas Magnum, private investigator.

However, word on the street is that McConaughey is considering taking the title role in Universal’s big screen adaptation of Magnum PI, the TV show that made Tom Selleck and his bushy black moustache a household name! The script, written by Dodgeball writer/director Rawson Thurber, is reportedly in McConaughey's hands at press time.

Will Selleck make a cameo? Will McConaughey dye his face pubes black? Will he even take the role? We can't wait to find out! In the meantime, McConaughey and his gal pal Camila Alvez eagerly await the birth of their first child, due shortly.
