Toni Braxton Continues to Cancel Shows

Toni Braxton has cancelled the rest of her Las Vegas shows this week due to chest pains from an undisclosed ailment.

"We're going to go ahead and cancel her shows tonight and for the rest of the week," Deanna Pettit, a spokeswoman for Flamingo Las Vegas hotel-casino and Harrah's Entertainment Inc., said in a statement on Wednesday. "We expect she'll return to the stage next Tuesday."

The 40-year-old singer was released from a Las Vegas hospital on Tuesday afternoon after undergoing some precautionary tests. In the past, she's been treated for pericarditis, a viral inflammation of the heart. Braxton's Vegas revue, "Toni Braxton: Revealed," is in the middle of a two-year run at the Flamingo.
