Demi Moore Joins Parker Posey and Josh Hartnett in Upcoming Films
Husky-voiced actress Demi Moore, who recently posed for Bazaar fashion magazine, looking younger and hotter than all three of her teenage daughters, is getting back to work. Moore has taken on a small, select spate of roles in the past few years, after a decade of reigning as one of Hollywood's highest paid actresses. Now the drought is over, and she's agreed to star in two upcoming independent films.Moore and former indie "it" girl Parker Posey will portray sisters in Happy Tears, a drama about two women dealing with their father who suffers from dementia. The film begins shooting in Philadelphia this month.
In addition, Moore joins Josh Hartnett and reunites with her Indecent Proposal co-star Woody Harrelson in Bunraku, a Sin City-style martial arts action flick. Hartnett will portray a man out for revenge, while Moore, known for her killer body, will vamp it up as a warlord's enslaved concubine. Sounds sexy! Shooting for the film, an otherworldly indie inspired by comic books, video games and origami, will take place in Europe.
Looks like a busy year ahead for Moore, who is happily married to the much younger, and until now, much busier Ashton Kutcher.
