Sub Pop has announced the details of its 20th anniversary party. Happening on July 12 and 13 at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA, the SP20 Festival will feature several reunions (The Fluid, Green River, Seaweed, Red Red Meat, Beachwood Sparks) and countless acts from the current Sub Pop stable including Comets on Fire, Kinski, Wolf Parade, Low, Iron & Wine, No Age, Wolf Parade, Flight of the Conchords, and the Helio Sequence. A related comedy show at Seattle's Moore Theatre will also happen on July 11 with Eugene Mirman, Patton Oswalt, Todd Barry and more. A full day-by-day breakdown will be released soon along with details on how to grab tickets for the event.
In related news, Sub Pop is planning on re-launching a limited run of its popular singles club, along with a deluxe reissue series that begins with Mudhoney's Superfuzz Bigmuff on May 22.
