Milla Jovovich Pleads the "Fourth"

Model, fashion designer, new mom and all-around hottie Milla Jovovich is about to get her action on! The super busy star, who is no stranger to kicking ass and taking names in big screen action romps, thanks to her tenure as the lead heroine in the Resident Evil series, with the most recent being Resident Evil: Extinction, has just joined the cast of Gold Circle Film's action thriller The 4th Kind. The film will be directed by relative newcomer Olatunde Osunsanmi, who also wrote the script.

Details about the film are intentionally hazy at this time but the plot appears to have a bit of an Area 51 vibe, centering around an ongoing unsolved mystery about a town in Alaska that has undergone an inordinate amount of disappearances over the course of 40 years, leading to speculation of a government cover up. Jovovich will play an investigator trying to get to the bottom of the disappearances. Filming begins in late June.
