Horror master re-casts lead role
Dennis Hopper's Son Leaves Wes Craven Flick
One of the key illnesses that randy teenagers are warned about is mononucleosis, also known as "mono" or "the kissing disease." The disease can put you out of commission for weeks and unfortunately, Hollywood spawn are not immune to the sickness. That's right. Mono has sidelined Dennis Hopper's son, 17-year-old Henry Lee Hopper, from starring in his first film role. The younger Hopper was originally set to star in Wes Craven's forthcoming flick, 25/8 but has contracted mono and had to bow out. He will be replaced by fellow blonde youngster Max Thierot, whose last big screen role was in the futuristic thriller Jumper.
The film is about seven teens who are stalked by a serial killer who reportedly died before they were even born. Craven is a true master of American horror and has also cast a bunch of newcomers for this film.
