Jordin Sparks Drops off Alicia Keys Tour
Jordin Sparks—American Idol's youngest winner, at the age of 17 in the show's sixth season—has temporarily left her support slot on the Alicia Keys tour to treat an acute vocal chord hemorrhage. According to a spokesperson for the singer's label, Jive, "Jordin is on a vocal rest, but she's expected to make a full recovery and join Alicia on tour in May."Sparks missed three shows this past weekend, including the opening night of Keys' tour on Saturday in Hampton, VA. She has one thing to be happy about, though: the No. 3 peak of her single "No Air" (featuring Chris Brown), last week on Billboard's Hot 100.
