Along with Shaun Livingston Producing
The plot is about a prodigal daughter, a former exotic dancer and pastor's daughter named Jesse Brown, played by Salli Richardson-Whitfield, who logged screen time in the megasmash I Am Legend. Jesse leaves her live of debauchery and comes home to make right with her teenaged son and her church congregation. She eventually ascends to the ranks of Pastor herself, leading the church. Dunbar will also appear in the film as a Muslim man who is also Jesse's love interest.
The cast is rounded out by former sitcom queen Tisha Campbell-Martin, Ernie Hudson, Dondre T. Whitifeld and Nicole Ari Parker. Former Olympic track star Carl Lewis has a role, while R&B singers India.Arie, Monica and Angie Stone will also appear. We're guessing the latter trio will have something to do with the church's choir.
