Christian Slater to Drive "Dolan's Cadillac"

Everyone's favorite Jack Nicholson impersonator – that would be Christian Slater- is back in action. The actor hops into the driver's seat of Dolan's Cadillac, a Stephen King short story that's being adapted for the silver screen. Tall, dark and handsome actor Wes Bentley, who showed oodles of promise a few years back in American Beauty, and Emmanuelle Vaugier, who had a role in Saw IV, are also on board to star. And no, it's not lost on us that a Bentley is in a movie with a Cadillac.

Slater will play slick mob boss Jimmy Dolan. Vaugier will play a woman who is offed by Dolan. Bentley portrays her husband, who plots to avenge her murder. Newbie Erik Canuel will direct, with production starting on May 14. Let's hope this particular adaptation follows in the footsteps of hugely successful King adaptations such as Misery and Stand By Me.
