Bloc Party Get Back to Work

    Wed, 30 Apr 2008 17:05:23

On the road and in the studio

While Bloc Party's currently busy cutting their third LP, the band will soon hit the road yet again for a lengthy summer tour that starts in Pomona, CA, on July 28 and winds down at Toronto's V Festival on September 6. Guitarist Russell Lissack also has a side project to attend to: the decadent dance-pop duo Pin Me Down, which also features the vocals of Milena Mepris.

The pair's first single, "Cryptic," hits the 'net and record stores in various formats on May 19 (iTunes UK), May 26 (import-only 12-inch) and June 2 (CD) through Kitsuné.
