Hot 97 Hires Perez Hilton, Announces Summer Jam Show

Hot 97 has added Perez Hilton to its morning show, giving the Hollywood-based blogger one minute to share the latest celebrity gossip. The "Hot 97 Perez Hilton Update" will air at 8 a.m. every weekday morning starting Monday, May 5. "Perez Hilton is an amazing personality with unprecedented Hollywood access," Ebro Darden, Hot 97's program director, said in a statement, "And making him part of the Hot 97 family adds another dimension to the legendary Hot 97 brand."

In other Hot 97 news, the station has revealed the details behind its annual Summer Jam Concert. Taking place at Giants Stadium on June 1, it'll feature such artists as Kanye West, Rihanna, Public Enemy, Lil Wayne, T-Pain and more. Tickets are $40-$165 and available at Ticketmaster locations now.
