Tied to their new LP
The Cure Unveil Singles Plan
The Cure's thirteenth studio album won't be out until September but you'll be able to hear bits and pieces of it starting May 13. Like a singles club with a serious superstition complex, the band plans on releasing one song a month—always on the 13th—from the effort, leading right up to its mid-September release. Each release will include an exclusive B-side, beginning with this month's "The Only One"/"NY Trip" pairing and June's "Freakshow"/"All Kinds of Stuff" combo. Singles from July and August will also be confirmed soon.
The Cure's North American tour begins next Friday, May 9, in Washington, DC, and runs through a June 21 stop at New York's Radio City Music Hall.
