Indie All Stars Join Daniel Johnston's Band

Scout Niblett and members of Yo La Tengo (James McNew), Sparklehorse (Mark Linkous), Teenage Fanclub (Norman Blake) and Half Japanese (Jad Fair) have agreed to back Daniel Johnston on a brief European tour. Running from a July 18 stop in Stockholm through a July 27 date in Dublin, "An Evening With Daniel Johnston and Friends" will hit Sweden, Norway, Scotland, England and Ireland. A one-off Johnston date backed by Philly's own Capitol Years will also happen at the POPPED! Festival on June 22.
