Tom Waits staged a faux press conference on his Web site (tomwaits.com) today, announcing a 13-date tour that's set to start on June 17 in Phoenix.

The streaming event revealed "Glitter and Doom" as the trek's title and "PEHDTSCKJMBA" as its "guiding word." (The acronym translates to "People Envy Happiness, Dogs Though, Sense Courage Knowing Jubilation Means Better Assets.")

Waits' last tour was through the Midwest in 2006. He only hit eight cities that time.
