With Cream, the Animals and more
"For years I've been wanting to put out a socially (conscious) show, because our times are similar to my childhood, which was in the '60s," concert producer Tony Ludwig told Billboard.com, adding that organizations like Greenpeace and Get Out the Vote would also be involved. "There are so many concerts out there that don't make a social statement. It's important to be aware of who we are and what we're doing as a country. Sometimes the best way to do it is through a concert where you have a lot of people together."
