In period flick
Page would play the English governess who embarks on a love affair with her boss. Jane Eyre is easily one of the most filmed pieces of Brit lit of all time, having seen several film versions throughout the years. The novel was published by acclaimed authoress Emily Bronte back in 1847, yet still incites modern public interest.
Page would join esteemed company by playing the role. Other actresses that have portrayed Jane Eyre include Joan Fontaine and Euro "It" girl Charlotte Gainsbourg. We look forward to seeing what Page does with the character.
