Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson film to see X-mas release
Christmas "Spirit"
The Spirit, featuring American bad ass Samuel L. Jackson and an impressive cast including Scarlett Johansson, Gabriel Macht, Eva Mendes, Jaime King, Paz Vega and Dan Lauria has had its release date bumped to the most festive and spirited of holidays: Christmas Day. The film hits theaters on December 25, 2008.The film, written and directed by comic book icon Frank Miller of Sin City fame, is based on a comic book series by late author Will Eisner. Lionsgate moved the film up from its originally intended January 16, 2009 release date, after fans at the Comic-Con in NYC a few weeks ago voiced their excitement and support for the film.
